In the "Project in Entrepreneurship / Innovation Management" (PEIM) course, students will engage with both theoretical and practical challenges within a focused entrepreneurship and innovation context. Please note that different PEIM courses are offered in the Winter Semester 2025/26 (i.e., two by Prof. Kock). As part of this PEIM course "xChange Challenge: Transferring University Technologies" student teams of three will be tasked with a technology already developed at the TU Darmstadt. Each team will work on developing a plan to transfer their technology and make it economically useful. The scientists behind these technologies plan to give first-hand insights and explain details about their inventions. This course covers the application of multiple concepts of Technology and Innovation Management as well as Entrepreneurship. To solve this xChange challenge, students will utilize a range of methodologies, including literature reviews, empirical research (both qualitative and quantitative), design thinking, sensitivity analyses, and scenario analysis. These methods will support the development of robust and forward-thinking educational strategies in innovation management and entrepreneurship.
