Klassifikation partieller Differentialgleichungen, Charakteristikenmethode, explizite Darstellungen von Lösungen der Wellengleichung und der Wärmeleitungsgleichung, physikalische Interpretation; Fundamentallösung und Greensche Funktionen für elliptische Differentialgleichungen, Maximumprinzip; explizite Lösung durch Fourierreihen in speziellen Gebieten.
