Course content

Plattentektonik und Einflussfaktoren der Magmenentwicklung. Petrologie und Geochemie magmatischer Gesteine. Vulkanismus und Plutonismus: Magmentypen, Klassifikation, Erscheinungsformen. Gefüge magmatischer Gesteine. Übungen: Klassifikation der Gesteine durch Bestimmen des Mineralbestandes und Gefüges in Handstücken und Gesteinsdünnschliffen.
