Students develop a basic understanding of energy efficiency and energy technologies in construction, both in the building and urban context, taking into account technical, economic, social and environmental aspects. They are familiar with the concepts of sustainable construction, building physics, active and passive building systems and energy-efficient construction in buildings as well as in housing areas and districts. Students have the ability to weigh up different solutions, to explain them objectively and understandably, to make decisions and give reasons for them.
