Course content

Das Modul vermittelt vertieftes Wissen im Bereich der Transportprotokolle und damit zusammenhängender Fragestellungen. Es werden Überlegungen zu Robustheit, Implementierbarkeit, Effizienz, Geschwindigkeit und Zuverlässigkeit angestellt. Insbesondere werden die Modellierung des Verhaltens von Protokollen und ihr Zusammenspiel mit anderen Schichten im Internet-Protokollstapel betrachtet. Im Mittelpunkt stehen das Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) und seine Varianten.
